Dear Diary Coffee proudly sponsors the Team Snacks cycling club and the Violet Crown club & race team. We also have our own Dear Diary Cycling Club for party pace in-town and mountain bike rides. Club members enjoy 10% off food and drinks at Dear Diary Coffee. Dear Diary donates cookies and coffee, provides space for club meetings and events, and helps promote these clubs on social media.

Team Snacks

Team Snacks is an organization for women and non-binary riders who are interested in all types of riding. The group focuses mostly on intermediate level rides, and hosts the occasional skills clinic and field trip. Team Snacks’ home shop is Cycleast.

Dear Diary Coffee is also collaborating with Team Snacks on a super cool bike kit this year! Stay tuned…

Violet Crown

Violet Crown is a club with men’s and women’s race teams. In general, VC is known for 50ish mile weekly group rides, and typically uses Mellow Johnny’s, their home shop, as a ride start rendezvous.

Dear Diary Club

Most of the time, Dear Diary participates in other people’s rides. We’ve randomly shown up at races with cookies and whatnot. No one seems to mind free caffeine and sugar! We just generally love the bike scene here.

Sometimes we’ll instigate rides though. For example, we did a town ride to Barton Springs, a mountain bike ride out at Rocky Hill… basically, if no one is doing the fun thing we want to do already, we just do it. And invite people.

Our shop is kind of small, so if you have a big group, we can ask permission to use the gated courtyard a block south of us.
